Patsy Jean Baldwin, 70 years old of Ponchatoula passed away December 4, 2011 at her home. She was born on November 6, 1941 in Hobbs, New Mexico. Surviving are her husband, Bill Baldwin; son Bruce Cross; 4 daughters, Brenda Stapleton, Beth Schafidel, Martha Georgel and Angela Beecher; 5 grandchildren, Gary Rogers, Sarah Schafidel, Billy Schafidel, Caitlin Georgel and Cody Georgel; 2 great-grandchildren, Ryley Roessler and Xavier Rogers; brother Joe Jennings; and 2 sisters, Janie Spurlock and Evelyn Perry. She is preceded in death by her parents Georgia Bagwell and Homer Jennings. Friends will be received at Harry McKneely and Son Funeral Home in Ponchatoula, Friday, December 9, 2011, from 4:00 p.m. until the funeral service at 6:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to The Breast Cancer Charities of America.
