Mrs. Sue C. Bast, wife of William F. Bast, well known citizen and funeral director of Boonsboro, died suddenly at 1:40 o'clock this morning at her home of angina pectoris. She was aged 67.
Mrs. Bast, who was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church of Boonsboro, had a large acquaintance in the town and community, and was held in high esteem.
She is survived by her husband and daughters, Mrs. E. G. Miller and Mrs. Gwen Miller, Boonsboro, and Misses Louise and Madeline Bast at home; sons John H., Charles R., and Gerald D. of Boonsboro; sisters, Mrs. Charles Thieme, Ft. Wayne, Ind., and Mrs. E. A. Jones, San Padro, Calif.; brothers, J. Hubert Fletcher and Harry E. Fletcher, Forest Park, Ill., and Leroy E. Fletcher, Oak Park, Ill. She also leaves seven grandchildren.
The funeral will be held Friday, services at the funeral home at 4 o'clock by Rev. Mr. Groff. Interment in the Boonsboro Mausoleum.
