Peggy J. Armstrong, 61, of 501 Snyder Hollow Road, New Providence, died of natural causes Wednesday at Lancaster General Hospital. A postal clerk, Mrs. Armstrong worked in the New Providence Post Office from 1963 to 1989. After retirement, she worked at Kmart, Kendig Square, Willow Street, until 1997. She was a member of Lord's House of Prayer, Quarryville. Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of Zelva E. Aukamp Souders of New Providence and the late J. Robert Souders. Her husband, Hugh A. Armstrong, died in 1993. Surviving in addition to her mother are four sons, Larry S., husband of Donna Hurley, John F. K., husband of Sue Hurley, and Matthew A., husband of Stacy Hurley, all of Lancaster, and Robert K., husband of Anne Hurley of Naples, Fla.; a stepdaughter, Margo, wife of Robert Farneth of New Providence; four grandchildren; three step grandchildren; and two brothers, Donald R.
