Rites Tuesday For Mrs. Amelia Criss
Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon in the home for Mrs. Amelia Criss, whose death occurred Sunday morning. Rev. M. H. Knobloch conducted the rites and burial was in the Evergreen cemetery.
Amelia Caroline Riedel was born to Mr. and Mrs. Charles Riedel at Chillicothe, Illinois, on December 17, 1860, being nearly 82 years of age at the time of her death. In 1880 she came with her parents to Loup City and on November 28, 1882 she was united in marriage to William Criss whp passed away in 1912. To this union one daughter was born.
Her parents, four sisters, and a brother preceded her in death. She is survived by her daughter, Mrs. L. A. Bangs of Grand Island, two sisters, one brother, five grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
