Mrs. John E. Maples, 62, of Rt. 3, Manitowoc, died Tuesday at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc, where she was a patient two days.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc. The Rev. Robert Berg will officiate and burial will be in Knollwood Memorial Gardens, Town of Kossuth.
Mrs. Maples, the former Rose Singer, was born Feb. 18, 1905 at Manitowoc, daughter of the late Anton and Blanche Mutowski Singer. She was educated at St. Boniface Parochial and West Side High Schools and was married to Mr. Maples at St. Boniface Church May 15, 1923.
Survivors are the husband, a son John of Neenah, two daughters, Mrs. Thomas Fitzmaurice, of Rt. 3, Manitowoc, and Mrs. Thomas Bennington of Prior Lake, Minn., two sisters, Mrs. Edwin Mrotek and Mrs. Mary Tikalsky of Manitowoc and 10 grandchildren. Three brothers and a sister preceded her in death.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. Thursday where at 7 p.m. the Rosary will be recited.
