In failing health for a number of years, Mrs. Alvin Jindra, 67, of Mishicot, died at 8 a.m. Wednesday at Two Rivers, Municipal Hospital.Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at St. Peter Evangelical Lutheran
Church, Mishicot, the Rev. David Worgull officiating. Burial will be in Mishicot Cemetery.

Mrs. Jindra, nee Leona Meineke, was born in the Town of Two Rivers, Feb. 19, 1891, a daughter of the late Charles an Wilhelmina Schmidt Meineke. She was married to Alvin Jindra at St. John Lutheran Church, Two Rivers, Nov. 7, 1914.
After their marriage the couple moved to the Town of Kossuth where her husband became engaged as a cheesemaker for 10 years. In 1937 the family moved to the Jindra homestead farm near Mishicot. They operated until their retirement and
removal to the village of Mishicot in 1958. She was a member of the Ladies Bible Hour of St. Peter Church.

Besides her husband she leaves two daughters, Mrs. Edward Breitwisch of Manitowoc and Mrs. Emil Schleis Jr., of Mishicot.; three sons, Alvin Jr., of Madison, Daniel of Kiel, and Roy of Mishicot; two sisters, Mrs. William Menges of Larrabee and Mrs. Dwight Holsopple of Los Angeles, Calif; six brothers, William, Herbert and Raymond of Mishicot, Erwin H. of Chicago, an Erhardt and Harold Meineke of
Two Rivers and 18 grandchildren.

Friends may call at Specht Funeral Home, Mishicot after 2 p.m. Friday until 11 am Saturday when the casket will be taken to the church where the body will lie in state until the time of service.
