He served in the US Army during WWII. He was retired from the City of Torrington, working as a custodian.
He is survived by a daughter, Isabelle Sterling Null of Torrington and a son, Bradley Sterling Jr. of Clearwater, and grandchildren Toni and Eric Sterling, Jessica Lynn Null and Sarah Mae Null. He was predeceased by a brother and four sisters.
Funeral Services will be held Friday Dec. 9 at 11 a.m. at Calvary Baptist Church in Torrington. Burial will follow at Hillside Cemetery. Friends may call at Phalen Funeral Home 285 Migeon Ave .,Torrington Friday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m.
