ST. ANSGAR - Harold William "Babe" Hulsizer, 85, of Oregon, Ill., died Friday (Dec. 5, 2003) in Oregon as a result of a recent stroke. Burial will take place at the Woodbury Cemetery in Lyle, Minn. Harold was born on May 18, 1918, in Thornton to Fred and Rosa Hulshizer. He married Dorothy L. Greiner in 1940. To this union, two children were born, Fred and Carolyn. He resided his adult life in Wisconsin and worked 40 years in the auto body business. Survivors include his children, Fred, of Madison, Wis., and Carolyn L. Welsh and her husband, Donald, of Chana, Ill.; one brother, Dale Huls-hizer and his wife, Lois, of St. Charles, Minn.; four grand-children, four great-grandsons, and a host of relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Dorothy in 2002; a grandson, Craig Welsh, and six brothers and one sisterSchroeder & Sites Funeral Home, St. Ansgar, is in charge of arrangements, (641) 713-4920.
