Funeral services for Randy E. Sabin, age 52 of Green River, WY, formerly of Morristown, will be held at 10:00am Tuesday, July 29, at Bethesda Lutheran Church north of Morristown. Pastor Dale Carmen will officiate with burial in the Bethesda Cemetery.
Serving as Honorary Casketbearers are Chad Sabin, Larry Sabin, Ross Keieleber, Dennis Sabin, Billy Schell. Active Casketbearers are Lance Sabin, Brian Rieger, Beau Sabin, Luke Sabin, Ryan Sabin, Justin Sabin, and Larry Rieger.
RANDY ELLIS SABIN was born on February 5, 1956 in Elgin, ND to Ellis and Amanda (Lorenz) Sabin. He attended school in Elgin and graduated from Elgin High School in 1975. Randy has resided in Green River, WY, LaBarge, WY and North Dakota.
He was a Senior Operator with Exxon-Mobil and enjoyed his employment there for twenty-one years.
His interests included motorcycling and restoring automobiles. He also was an avid hunter, bow hunter and fisherman. Randy loved life and people, especially kids. He loved to tell stories, jokes and make everybody smile. He would walk into a room and immediately light it up. Whenever someone needed something, Randy was there to offer a helping hand.
Mr. Sabin has been in failing health since February 2008.
Randy passed away on Thursday, July 24, 2008 at his home in Green River, WY.
Survivors include his parents, Ellis and Amanda Sabin of Scio, Oregon; four brothers, Ronnie Sabin and wife Kris of Kennewick, Washington, Terry Sabin and wife Rhonda of Scio, Oregon, Charles Sabin and wife Debra of Roy, Utah and Ritchie Sabin and wife Donna of Oregon City, Oregon; one sister Bonnie Reiger and Clyde of Scio, Oregon; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Charles and Beryl Sabin and maternal grandparents John and Margaret Lorenz; several aunts and uncles.
