Alexander E. Klimash of Murrells Inlet, SC passed into eternal rest on December 9, 2011 at the National Healthcare Center in Murrells Inlet. Born in Mayfield, PA on Jan. 19, 1921, he was the son of Elias and Julia Klimash who predeceased him.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Helen (Telep) Klimash; brothers, Michael, Nicholas, John and Walter; sisters, Anna and Helen Spicer; he is survived by nephews, Walter Klimash of Murrells Inlet, SC, Gary Klimash of Binghamton, NY, Victor Klimash of Baton Rouge, LA, David Klimash of Leeds, ME, Rev. John Telep of Greensburg, PA; nieces, Carol Harman of League City, TX, Kathleen Pankratz of Bloomfield, NY, Marsha Wisser of Avon Lake, OH and Diana Telischak of Clifton, NJ and sister-in-law, Elizabeth Nosal of Elmwood Park, NJ.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Monday, December 12, 2011 at St Nicholas Orthodox Church, Myrtle Beach and officiated by Rev. Gabriel Bullock. Burial will follow at Ocean Woods Memorial Cemetery in Myrtle Beach. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Dormition of the Virgin Mary Orthodox Church, Binghamton, NY or St Nicholas Orthodox Church in Myrtle Beach, SC.
