Grace told me a long time ago she was born in Roundaway, MS, her parents were Solomon Luther Skeen and Florence Wheeler, they are buried in the Roundaway Cem. She married James Robert Woods on May 22, 1948 in Humphreys Co. MS
They had 4 children of her own being Roger, whom I married, Janice, Len and Carl and she also raised 3 gr.children Ronnie, Lisa and Monica. I know her children and gr.children loved her very much and have fond memories of her.
Grace was always a kind and gentle person most of the time but she did have a temper that I saw a few times. She tried to be a good friend and do right by everyone she met. She and I spent a lot of time together in the 80s in Houston working together cleaning houses and going to garage sales. I've always felt if anyone had a place in Heaven or was owed God's Grace it was Grace. We all love you and miss you very much, Kay.
