Born Dec. 10, 1991, in Ticonderoga, he was the son of James J. Magee of Pottersville and Sara Youngest Griffen of Pottersville.
Kevin attended North Warren Central School in Chestertown and was currently the ninth grade class secretary, a member of North Warren Bowling Team, a member of the Audio Visual Club and enjoyed working on his computer. He will be remembered as a loving son, brother and grandson.
He was predeceased by his grandparents, John and Evelyn Magee.
Besides his parents, survivors include his dad, Frederick M. Griffen III of Pottersville, step-mother, Elena Magee of Pottersville; four brothers: John (Monique) Magee of Walled Lake, Mich., Michael (Cathy) Magee of Casper, Wyo., Benjamin Magee of Pottersville, Frederick M. Griffen IV of Pottersville; four sisters: Susan (Rich) Riordan of Gettysburg, Pa., Jamie Magee and her companion, John Paradis, of Glens Falls, Harley Griffen and Abagail Griffen of Pottersville; one stepbrother,
Rouslan Solomakhin of Pottersville; grandparents, Donald and Joan Younes of Brant Lake, Frederick M. (Karen) Griffen Jr. of Pottersville; great-grandparents, Elizabeth Griffen of Pottersville, Vernon and Marilyn Winch of Minerva; one niece, one nephew and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, April 30, at St. John The Baptist Catholic Church, Chestertown, with the Rev. Sharon Sauer and the Rev. Steven Moore officiating.
Interment will be at Pottersville Cemetery.
Relatives and friends may call Sunday from 1 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 9 p.m. at Barton-McDermott Funeral Home, 9 Pine St., Chestertown.
