Funeral Services for Ray Farmer Lampley 53, rural mail carrier from the Fairview post office for many years, were held Saturday afternoon at one o'clock from the residence with interment in New Hope Cemetery near the home. His death occurred Monday, May 27, 1946.
Mr. Lampley had spent his life in Williamson County and was a highly respected citizen. He is survived by his children, Mrs. Mary Gray and Mrs. Dorothy Ozanne, of Goodlettsville; Mrs. Virginia White, of Bon Aqua; Miss Beatrice Lampley of Athens, Ala; Sophia, Jean, Rosevelt and Broddock Lampley, of Fairview, and Thomas Lampley of Balboa, Panama; four sisters and two brothers.
