Evelyn MaeTenney 17 May, 2011 Saco, Evelyn Mae Tenney, 79 of Flag Pond Rd. passed away Tuesday May 17, 2011 at Mercy Hospital. She was born in Saco January 4, 1932 the daughter of William and Mildred Huntress Tracy. She attended Saco schools and later Thornton Academy. Evelyn was a lifelong resident of Saco and Biddeford. She enjoyed her soaps, knitting, crocheting and the company of her family. She also attended the Salvation Army in Old Orchard Beach.

Survivors include her husband Fred Tenney, Sr. of Saco, a son Fred W. Tenney II and his wife Miranda of Biddeford, a son in law Tom Danis of Biddeford, 7 daughters Hazel Brown and Linda Withee and her husband Reggie all of Searsmont, Carol Tenney of Acadia, Fl, Dorothy Bishop of Saco, Mattie Kahn of Alabama, Kathy Newton and her boyfriend Robin Carpenter of Portland, and Judith Chretien of Biddeford , 2 brothers Walter Tracy of Saco and Richard Tracy of California, 4 sisters Ruth Huff, Mattie Hilton, and Marion Levesque all of Saco and Peggy Boudreau of Old Orchard Beach, 21 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren, and many nephews and nieces. She is predeceased by a daughter Barbara Ann Danis in 2007 and a granddaughter Kayla Ann Tenney in 1991.

Visiting hours are to be Friday May 20th from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the Salvation Army Citadel 8 6th street Old Orchard Beach Maine. A 1:30 funeral service will immediately follow at the Corp. Burial will be at a later time at Laurel Hill Cemetery in Saco. Dennett, Craig & Pate 365 Main St, Saco are in charge of the arrangements.
