Adam Wannemacher Died at Findlay
Adam Wannemacher, eighty-five, a native of Ottoville, and retired farmer, and resident of Findlay in recent years, died Sunday morning at eight-thirty in his home. His death, which followed an illness of six weeks was attributed to asthma.
Mr. Wannemacher was born September 9, 1861, at Ottoville. His parents were Joseph and Martha Wannemacher. He moved to Findlay in 1920 from Greenville, PA. In February 1883 he married Adeline Gard, who died in September 1932.
He is survived by, Mrs. Henry Brown, Mrs. Irey Kiser, and Mrs. Bernard Wellington, all of Findlay, Godfrey Wannemacher, Greenville, PA, Fred Wannemacher, Cincinnati, Ralph Wannemacher, Dayton, Mrs. Wilbert Solomon and Mrs. Isadore Best, both of Ft. Wayne; two brothers, Godfrey Wannemacher, Ottawa, and Henry Wannemacher, Ottoville; there are 24 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at ten o’clock Wednesday morning at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Ottoville. The Pastor, Rev. Henry E. Gerwert, officiated. Burial was made in Ottoville.
