Kenneth Lee McDonald, 78 of Ardmore, Tennessee passed away on Sunday, December 11, 2011.
He was born Wednesday, August 23, 1933 in Limestone County, Alabama, to the late William Clarence and Ellen Lee Sandridge McDonald.
His occupation was construction and was the owner of Acoustical Installers for 25 years.
He was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church, Masonic Lodge #24 Ardmore, TN, Scottish Rights and Cahaba Shrine Temple in Huntsville.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Imogean Magnusson McDonald; grandson Jerome Nugent (Karin) McDonald; two sisters, Miriam Gray (Paul) Stewart of Athens, AL and Beatrice Bland of Winchester, TN; one half brother Eddie McDonald of GA; four aunts, Gladys Pullen of Muscle Shoals, Edna Higginbotham and Margaret McDonald of Athens and Lucille Campbell of GA.
He was preceded in death by his parents, son, Kenneth Lee McDonald, Jr., brothers, William Clarence, Jr. and Bobby Glenn McDonald, one half brother Carlos David McDonald.
Visitation will be December 13, 2011, from 5 P.M. to 7 P.M. with a Masonic Service at 7 P.M. at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM on Wednesday December 14, 2011 at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home,with Rev. Sammy Brister officiating. Burial will follow in Gatlin Cemetery, Ardmore, AL.
Donations may be made to First Baptist Building, Caris Hospice, Columbia, TN or your favorite charity.
