Jeremiah (Jere) Jackson Hart is not buried in Mount Olivet Cemetery. It was intended that he would be when his wife was buried there, but he contracted Hanson's Disease (Leprosy) and was committed for life to the leprosarium in Carville, Louisiana, and is buried in the Patients Cemetery there in Iberville Parish.
