Born to John Roy and Alice Sadie Bisel Scott, Maxine married James R. McKee on Jan. 18, 1943, in Grant County, Ind. He survives.
Also surviving are three sons, Jon of Germantown Hills, James R. Jr. of Columbus, Ind., and Randy of Lebanon, Ind.; two daughters, Rita McKee of Orange, Conn., and Janet Warrner of Muncie; eight grandchildren; and two brothers, Glen Scott and Joseph Scott, both of Marion, Ind.
She did clerical work at Ball State University in Muncie for two years. She was a trust officer at Industrial Trust & Savings Bank in Muncie for five years.
She was a member of the Universalist Unitarian Church in Tucson.
Cremation will be accorded.
