COURIER-JOURNAL OBITUARY - 12/13/2011 - CLAIBORNE, JAMES ROBERT III, 1928-2011 Jim in life enjoyed traveling the globe, was an avid outdoorsman and living life to the beat of his own drum. He will be remembered by those who had the pleasure of his company as a loving father, mentor to many and a fine friend to all! He is survived by his daughters, Helen Claiborne and Martha Claiborne; as well as countless acquaintances from all walks of life. Expressions of sympathy should be directed to the Salvation Army. He will be missed.
