Julia Walline, Wife of Retired Policeman, Dies.
Mrs. Julia Walline, 67, of Rural Route 1, Moline, wife of Ernest Walline, retired Moline policeman, died at 12:45 this noon in Moline Public hospital, where she had been confined one day. She had been ill the last three days.
Miss Julia Parker was born Dec. 10, 1875, in Cable, the daughter of Benjamin "Franklin" and Delila Elliotte Parker. She was married to Ernest Walline in June 1899. They moved to Moline in 1904.
Surviving are two sons, Ivan Walline of Moline and Dale Walline of Galesburg, and two grandchildren.
The body was taken to Esterdahl mortuary. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday afternoon in the Esterdahl chapel, with the Rev. E.E. Eklof, pastor of Bethany Baptist church officiating. Burial will be in the family lot in Riverside cemetery. Mrs. Titus Samuelson will play the organ and sing. Pallbearers will be, Joseph Trego, Benjamin Wilde, Lawrence Nelson, Earl Tomlinson, George Roquet and Carrol Bopp.
