Daughter of Joe Hilliard and Madge Edwards Kirby, wife of Clifton Ansel Jordon.

MULLINS - Mrs. Jordan, widow of Clifton A. Jordan, died January 4, 2003. Born in Mullins, she was a daughter of the late Dr. Joe H. and Madge Edwards Kirby.

She was class valedictorian of Mullins High School and a graduate of Limestone College. She was a member of Daughters of the American Revolution and a member of Macedonia United Methodist Church, where she was a former Sunday school teacher.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, January 6, 2003 at Meares Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Paul Frey officiating. Burial will follow in Cedardale Cemetery.

Surviving are a son, Kirby Jordan (Jannette) of Florence; a daughter, Renee Spivey (Elwood) of Tabor City, NC; a brother, John Kirby of Mullins; two sisters, Katherine Blue of Marion and Norma Reid of Mullins; and 4 grandchildren.
