Ex-Owner of Muskrat Farm Dies
Warren C. Davis, Kochville Township, died Monday morning at Sun Valley Medical Care Center at the age of 87. He was a lifelong resident of Saginaw County.
For many years Mr. Davis and his brother Roland Davis, now deceased, owned and operated a licensed muskrat farm for trapping. It still is known as the Davis brothers Muskrat Farm.
Mr. Davis was born Dec. 12, 1881, in Kochville Township. He was a mason and bricklayer for several years, retiring in 1930. He was a member of Bricklayers, Plasterers and Masons Local No. 7, AFL-CIO and of the Michigan Trappers Association.
Survivors include three sisters, two brothers, and several nieces and nephews.
