Sam Faneuf Arrives Last Evening on a Visit.
Sam Faneuf, a brother of Hiram Faneuf, arrived last evening from Rosario, Mexico, a mining town in Sinaloa district, sixty miles inland from Mazatlan.
He is a mining engineer and for four years has been at Rosario, it being a place of about 4000 inhabitants, of which gold and silver are the mineral products. The hot rainy season is on there at present.
Mr. Faneuf is a graduate of the local High School, and of the mining and engineering department of the State University at Berkeley.
