ARLINGTON, Oct. 23. The body of 1st Lieut. Edward Ralph Kenneson of the 9th Aero Squadron, who died of pneumonia in a Paris hospital on Jan. 9, 1919, was buried with full military honors at Mt. Auburn Cemetery, Cambridge, this afternoon following a funeral service in the Arlington First Baptist Church. The service was conducted by the Rev WF Preston, pastor of the Arlington Heights Methodist Episcopal Church, where the dead hero attended.
As the funeral cortege was proceeding along Massachusetts Avenue, the church bells in Arlington were tolled. Flags on public buildings were floated at half-staff.
Lieut. Kenneson was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Edward S. Kenneson of Arlington Heights, and he saw two years of brilliant service in France. At the time of his death, he was with the army of occupation and was in command of the 9th Aero Squadron.
