Alvin R. Clarke, 85, died Friday, Jan. 20, 1995 at Mercy Hospital. He was born July 2, 1909 in Milton. He lived his entire life in this area. He worked at the Burdick Corporation as an inspector. He was married to Doris Davis in 1932. He was a member of Faith United Methodist Church.
He is survived by a son, Richard (Grace) Clarke of Milton; a grandson, David (Rachel) of Milton; a daughter-in-law Adeline (Charles) Kowski; six granddaughters: Gail (Raymond) Gray of Milton, Diane (Jim) Mazuk of Edgerton, Cindy Clarke of Milton, Kathleen Gulvik of Watertown, Karen (Thomas) Hromadka of Waterloo, and Kristine Park of Lancaster; 11 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Harvey (Vera) Clarke of Milton. He was preceded in death by his wife, Doris in 1987, a son, Harold Clark in 1978, and a great-grandson, Nathan Clark in 1979.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, Jan. 24, 1995 at the Albrecht Funeral Home. Burial was in the Milton Junction Cemetery.
