Willie Mae Roberts, age 79, of Cherokee, passed away Thursday, Dec. 15, 2011.
Willie Mae was born and raised in Cherokee, Ala. She loved the restaurant business and owned several restaurants through the years.
She is survived by her son, Glenn Lashley and his wife, Laureen; her grandchildren, Jace and Kaia Lashley; and her sisters, Lucy Hand and Joyce Collum.
She was very loved and will be greatly missed.
Visitation will be noon-1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 17, at Spry-Williams Funeral Home, Florence. The service will follow at 1 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be at Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens.
