Davis May 28, 1927 in Saginaw. He predeceased her July 5, 1982. She was a member of St. Matthew's Catholic Church and was a graduate of St. Joseph's High School. Surviving are two daughters and two sons, Eileen M. Davis, Mrs. Leonard (Joan) Thomas, Edward (Ted) Davis Jr., all of Saginaw; Thomas Davis, Houghton Lake; 17 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; one son-in-law, Vincent Markey, Houghton Lake. One daughter Mary Markey predeceased her.
Funeral service will take place 9:30 a.m. Saturday at the Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter off State, 10:00 a.m. at St. Matthew's Catholic Church. Rev. Michael McCarthy will officiate with burial in Oakwood Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Hemmeter after 7:00 p.m. Thursday where they will meet with relatives at 7:30 p.m. Friday for a prayer service. The family will be present from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Thursday and on Friday from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Those who so desire may make memorials to St. Matthew's Catholic Church.
