He married twice. He married MARTHA W "PATSY" BURTON in Humphreys County, Tennessee, November 16, 1821. (MARTHA W "PATSY" BURTON .) MARTHA was born in North Carolina, August 16, 1802. MARTHA was the daughter of HENRY BURTON and KEZIAH FARLEY. MARTHA died November 1, 1875, Randolph County, Arkansas, at 73 years of age. Her body was interred Randolph County, Arkansas, Siloam Cemetery.

He married NANCY TAYLOR in Randolph County, Arkansas, on September 10, 1876. NANCY was born in Pike County, Indiana, on December 28, 1812. NANCY was the daughter of William H. Fowler and Anna (-------) Fowler. NANCY was twice previously widowed. She died in Randolph County, Arkansas on May 28, 1897, and her body was interred in Randolph County, Arkansas, in Ainley Cemetery.
