Chester Collin Lutz, 73, of Ephrata, Wash., died Monday, Sept. 22, 2003, in Moses Lake, Wash.
Born in Shickshinny, Dec. 16, 1930, he was a son of the late Beach and Emma Lutz.
Mr. Lutz was a veteran, serving in the military from 1947 to 1956 as a radio operator during the Berlin Airlift.
Survivors include his wife, the former Agnes Loewen, whom he married March 3, 1959; two sons, Mark and Randy Lutz, both of Ephrata; and a daughter, Linda Madison, Gold Bar, Wash.; three sisters: Jean Augustine, Buffalo, N.Y.; Irma Wilson and Evelyn Rychlenske, both of Taylor, Mich.; two brothers, Ralph Lutz, Glen Lyon; and Edgar Lutz, Berwick; and seven grandchildren.
Memorial services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Nicoles Funeral Home Chapel, Ephrata, under the direction of Nicoles Funeral Home, 157 C St. N.W., Ephrata, Wash.
