Away Thursday Afternoon
Thursday afternoon at five forty-
five occurred the death of Herbert, 19
year old son of Mr. and Mrs. H. F.
Gaulke, Wisconsin street, after a lin-
gering illness of heart trouble and
rheumatism which had caused him to
be confined to his bed for the past two
weeks.
Deceased was born and educated in
Wisconsin Rapids and was a graduate
of the class of 1922 at the Lincoln
high school. He was popular with
all who knew him and was one of the
favorites of his class mates who join
with his parents and immediate rela-
tives in regretting his early death,
just when starting out on a career.
Besides his parents he leaves, to
mourn his death, four brothers, My-
ron, Emmett, George and James, all
of this city; and three sisters, La-
moine, Laretta and Marguerite, this
city; besides a number of other rela-
tives...
