Norma G. Kendall, 67, McConnellsburg, died Saturday, March 25, 2003, at Chambersburg Hospital. Born July 20, 1935, in Robertsdale, she was the daughter of the late Norman and Hilda (Johnson) Watkins. She was married to John "Jack" Kendall, who preceded her in death. She was self-employed as a daycare provider for 40 years and was of the Protestant faith. She is survived by two sons: John M. (Dolly) Kendall II, McConnellsburg, and Daniel R. Kendall, McConnellsburg; a daughter, Teresa (Bob) Carter, McConnellsburg; a brother, William (Nancy) Watkins, Robertsdale; three sisters: Wanda (Harry) Brown, Robertsdale; Linda (Jeffrey) Miller, Robertsdale, and Edith (Lewis) Hartman, Hagerstown; seven grandchildren: Tammy Morgan, Chris Seiders, Melinda Carter, John Carter, Andy Carter, Joshua Lininger and Lindsay Lininger; three great-grandchildren: Andrew, Benjamin and Matthew Morgan. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband. Funeral services were held Tuesday, April 1, at 11:00 a.m., at Kelso-Cornelius Funeral Home, McCon-nellsburg. Burial was made in Union Cemetery. Rev. Belvy White officiated. The Kelso-Cornelius Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
