Ernest E. Maddocks of Swanville, 75, died at a local hospital, August 6, after a long illness. He had been a life-long resident of Swanville.
Born in Swanville, January 9, 1881, he was the son of the late Herbert G. and Nellie (Curtis) Maddocks.
Surviving are his wife, Eleanor of Swanville; two sons, Clinton of Swanville and Harlan of Bath; five grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Funeral services were held Wednesday at 2:30pm at the Swanville Union Church with the Rev. Charles Quine officiating.
Burial was in the Greenlawn Cemetery, Swanvile, Maine.
