D Arleen Abrahams

    D. Arleen Abrahams, 77, of Caldwell, passed away Monday, March 18, 1996, at a Caldwell hospital. Graveside services will be conducted at 2:20 p.m. Thursday, March 21, 1996, at Canyon Hill Cemetery, Caldwell. Troy Agema of the First Christian Church, Caldwell, will officiate under direction of the Flahiff Funeral Chapel, Caldwell. Family and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery and are invited to a gathering following the service.

    Arleen was born Feb. 17, 1919, at Belleville, Kansas. She graduated from high school in Cuba, Kansas, where she met W. Dean Abrahams. They were married in Los Angeles, Ca, on January 1, 1938. Over the years, Arleen was employed by Whittle Drug, Dr. Reynolds, and Dr. Simpson. She retired from Caldwell City Hall in 1981.

    Surviving Arleen is her best friend and companion of 40 years, Frank Mihara; daughter, DeeAnne Richardson and her husband George; granddaughter, Casandra Crowell and her husband George; granddaughter, Shelly Wiley-Vegwert and her husband Mark; grandson, Ted Wiley and his wife Gail; grandson Boyd Wiley and his wife Lisa; nine great-grandchildren; sister, Velda O'Conner of Orlando, Fl.; sister Afton Young of Hubbell, Neb., and sister, Georgia Hamblin of Edgar, Neb.

    She was preceded in death by her twin sister, Uleen Rytych.
