Vera Ackerman
Vera Sigman Ackerman, 73, of Caldwell, returned to the Lord November 5, 1995, at a friend's home in Boise. Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday November 9, 1995, at Dakan Funeral Chapel, Caldwell. Rev. Orville Stiles will officiate. Burial will follow at Canyon Hill Cemetery, Caldwell.
Vera was born January 13, 1922, in Oakwood, Oklahoma. She resided there until 1954 then relocated to the Boise Valley with her four sons. Vera was a loving mother. She was employed at various restaurants in the Boise Valley. She also worked a a Bookkeeper, and was well known for her seamstress talents. She enjoyed her traveling, dancing, bowling and her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by four sons, Lynden (Lynn) Wilson of Lindsay, Oklahoma, Calvin Wilson of Twin Falls, Gary Wilson of Broomfield, Colorado, and Buddy Wilson of Phoenix, Arizona; her special friend, Bob Stahl of Boise; 12 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers, Joseph Sigman of Portland, Ore., Lew Sigman of Emmett; 1 Sister, Elaine Low of Middleton.
Preceded in death by her father, Joseph Samuel Sigman; her Mother, Clara Sigman; 2 Sisters, Lois Sigman and Mary Armstrong; one granddaughter, Millie Wilson.
