Arthur Adler, 80, formerly of 1123 S. 13th St., Manitowoc, died Tuesday evening, Nov. 2, at Family Heritage Home, Manitowoc.

Funeral services will be 9:30 a.m. Friday at Jens Funeral Home and 10 a.m. at St. Boniface Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. Theodore J. Hendricks will officiate and burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Two Rivers.

Mr. Adler was born Oct. 22, 1902, at Marshfield, son of the late George and Anna Berg Adler. He attended Marshfield schools and was graduated from Marshfield High School in 1922. He married Dorothy Weber June 3, 1926, at Two Rivers, and they came to Manitowoc to make their home. Mr. Adler had been an auto mechanic for the Charles Bouril Agency a number of years and in 1940 joined the city Treatment Plant. He retired in 1970 as superintendent of the plant. He was an avid sports fan and hunter. He was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church, Manitowoc.

Survivors include his wife, Dorothy; a brother and sister-in-law, Harold and Beatrice Adler of Marshfield; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Sarah Martin and Adelaide and Nordahl Jackson of Marshfield and nieces and nephews. A sister, Agnes Roecklein, preceded him in death.

Friends may call at Jens Funeral Home 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday. A Rosary service will be at 7:30 p.m.

Weber-Adler: The marriage of Miss Dorothy Weber of this city to Arthur Adler of Manitowoc was solemnized at St. Luke's Church at 9 o'clock yesterday morning, Rev. Hugo officiating. Miss Phyliss Weber was maid of honor and the bridesmaids were Misses Adelaide Adler and Adelaide Wojta. Louis Weber was the best man and John Healy was the other attendant of the groom. A reception at the home of the bride's parents was attended by friends and a dinner was served with covers laid for thirty-five guests. A supper was also served.

The couple left this afternoon on a few week's wedding trip through Michigan, Canada and Wisconsin. Upon their return, June 18, they will be at home to friends at 1012 South Thirteenth street in this city.

The out of town guests who attended the wedding were Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Marten, and George Adler of Marshfield father of the groom.
