Mr. E. C. Humble of the French Valley section died Monday, October 23, after an illness of some length. He was 84 years of age.
He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Anna Grider of Indianapolis, and three sons...John D. Humble of Greenup, Ky, Rymon Humble of Columbia, and Logan Humble of Russell Springs. Also surviving are five grandchildren and one great grandchild, as well as a number of other relatives, and a great host of friends.
Funeral services were held yesterday (Wednesday) afternoon at the First Baptist Church in Russell Springs, conducted by Rev. S.B. Rowe. Burial was in the Dunbar Cemetery near Scott's Chapel, south of Jamestown.
Rippetoe Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
