Barbara A. Pullins Archer, daughter of Archibald Pullins and Sarah Ann Ropp Pullins, married Samuel Archer 7 March 1876 Jasper County, Indiana. Eight children were born to this union: Melinda G., Silva M., Celina, John B., Simon W., Elmer E., Milo C., and Alfred E. Archer. Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Archer were members of the Methodist Episcopal Church and were held in high regard by all who knew them.
