Juanita F. Berry Grigsby, of Sedalia, died Nov 10, 2004, at Fair View Nursing Home.
She was born Mar 21, 1907, in Cole Camp, a daughter of Guy C. and Katherine Graves Berry. On Oct 1, 1977, in Sedalia, she was married to Paul A. Grigsby who passed away on Mar 12, 1978.
Mrs Grigsby was raised and educated in Sedalia. She worked for the Sedalia School District # 200 for 45 years, retiring in 1970. She served as the first secretary of Smith Cotton High School. Mrs Grigsby also served as secretary to the superintendent, and as treasurer for the School District. She was one of the eldest members of First United Methodist Church, and also served as treasurer for the church. She was a member of the Community of Retired Teachers, Bothwell Hospital Auxiliary, Sorosis, PEO Chapter IP, and American Red Cross. She enjoyed playing Bridge.
Surviving are a niece, Barbara Green, of Sedalia; and two nephews, Ronald Berry, of Green Ridge, and Roy C Berry, of Midland, MI.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Walton T Berry and Roy Berry.
Pallbearers were Cliff McBride, Wilbur Mosier, Duane Slagel, Emmett Fairfax, Morris Byrum, and Dan Robinson.
