Funeral services for Alice (Mrs. James) Bishop, 55,of 523 E. Elm Ave., Waseca, who died Monday, Aug. 15 in the Prince George General Hospital in Cheverly, Maryland, were held 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 19 at the Gill Funeral Home in Morristown, the Rev. John Roberts officiating.
Burial was in Woodville Cemetery, Waseca.
Visitation was held Thursday evening and Friday morning before services at the funeral home.
Mrs. Bishop was born Dec. 18, 1922 in Mitchell, S. D. to Harry and Gladys (Endersbe) Goodrich.
She married James W. Bishop at Walker on Jan. 14, 1946. The couple lived in Morristown prior to moving to Waseca.
Mrs. Bishop is survived by her husband, James; five children, Mrs. Susan Anderson of LeCenter, Julie (Mrs. Dennis) Delaske of Waterville, Geraldine (Mrs. Joseph) Mirabile of Temple Hills, Md., Steven of Waseca, William of Waterville; 14 grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Ellen Forbes of Fullerton, Calif.
Mrs. Bishop was preceded in death by a grandson, Robert Anderson.
