Mrs. Mary E. Milliken

Memorial services, sponsored by the ladies of the G. A. R. were held last night at the Milliken home in South East street, for Mrs. Mary Ellen Milliken, who died Saturday afternoon, August 11, 1934, at 5 o'clock.

Last rites will be held today at 2 o'clock at the late home with Rev. C. C. Flisher in charge. Interment will be in Oakmont cemetery.

Mrs. Milliken was aged 79 and was the widow of the late Samuel Milliken who died in 1929. She was born in Jackson township, January 8, 1855, a daughter of John and Eliza Fordyce Smith. She was an active member of the Methodist Episcopal church here and was also a member of the Ladies of the G. A. R.

Survivors are two sons and one daughter, Mrs. W. V. Hoskinson, and H. E. Milliken, both of Waynesburg; Dr. L. F. Milliken, of Phildaelphia; one brother, A. B. Smith, New Concord, O., and one sister, Mrs. M. L. Core, Morgantown, W. Va.
