Mrs. Marie Abitz, 76, Dies At Home of Son. Mrs. Marie Abitz, died this week at the home of her son John in the village of Brillion. Funeral services will be held Sunday at 1 p. m. from the home followed by services at the Friedens Evangelical church with Interment In the Brillion village cemetery.
The deceased was born In Germany in 1857, married Gottfried Abltz in 1877. He died In 1929. In 1881 the family came to America and settled at Howard's Grove. After two years they moved to Brillion where they cleared land and built a home a mile west of the village. The deceased was a member of the Friedens Evangelical congregation at Brillion.
Survivors are four sons, Frank of Fond du Lac , Herman of Appleton, Fred and John of Brillion. There are 27 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
