Mrs. Gordon Wheeler, 28, Expires Following Operation
Mrs. Dorothy Wheeler, 28, of the East River road died early this morning at the Cortland County Hospital following an operation. She was formerly Miss Dorothy Righter of Ballston Spa. She was a graduate of the Cortland Normal School.
Her husband, Gordon Wheeler, is employed at the Crocker Farms. Mrs. Wheeler was a member of the Baptist Church of Ballston Spa, and was an active member of the Child Study Club of Cortland and Homer.
Survivors include her husband, Gordon Wheeler; two children, gordon, jr., and Constance Ann; two brothers, Louis Righter and Paul Righter, both of Ballston Spa; three sisters, Mrs. Edward Robinson of Ballston Spa, Jean Righter and Joy Righter, both of whom are now attending Cortland Normal School; her parents Mr. and Mrs. Charles Righter of Ballston Spa; and a grandmother, Mrs. L.J. Righter of Thompson, Pa.
Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at 2 at the Heath Funeral Home, Cincinnatus.
