Summer Elliott-Kendrick, 47, died on July 5, 2005, in Aurora, Colo.
She was born Jan. 8, 1958, in Mt. Carmel, the daughter of Jack L. and Sarah Edolyn (Gash) Elliott.
Mrs. Elliott-Kendrick was a graduate of Eastern Illinois University.
Survivors include her husband, John Kendrick, as well as her pet companions, Jack and Ellie; sisters, Tonny Orr and Terry Smith, Mt. Carmel; brother, Jack Elliott II, Evansville, Ind.; nieces, Mandy Orr, Krystal Edmondson and Karabeth Edmondson; and nephew, Scott Orr.
Preceding her in death were her parents.
Funeral services will be at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, July 10, in the chapel of Short Funeral Home, with burial in Highland Memorial Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until the hour of service on Sunday at the funeral home.
