FORT WORTH -- Jack Edgar Cobb, 74, a loving husband and father who was devoted to his family, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 28, 2004, at home.

Funeral: 9:30 a.m. Friday in Mount Olivet Chapel. Burial: Mount Olivet Cemetery.

Jack was born Oct. 4, 1929, in Fort Worth. He was past master of Sunrise Daylight Masonic Lodge, member of Scottish Rite, Moslah Shrine, Flying Fez, Chapter and Council and Eastern Star. Jack was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seaton Catholic Church in Keller. He was patient, kind and tolerant and was loved by all who knew him.

Survivors: Wife of 52 years, Opal Cobb; daughters, Deborah L. Cobb, Tammy Sharpe, all of Fort Worth; grandchildren, Bryan K. Lowe of San Diego, Calif., Jessica E. Faver of Wichita Falls, Craig Markum and Austin Gunter, both of Fort Worth; great-grandchildren, Elexus M. Lowe and Anthony M. Lowe, both of San Diego, Calif., and Caleb D. Faver of Wichita Falls.
