On March 31, 1862 "R. F. Holman very sick"
On April 1, 1862 "Robert F. Holman very sick with pneumonia; taken to a private house in Burksville (Mr. Gray's); R. M. Holman detached to wait on him. I regard his case as a very bad one."
Note: R. M. Holman is Rufus Medicus Holman, brother to Robert Flack Holman.
