STAFFORD, George - Age 85, of the Flint, MI area, died Sunday, May 17, 2009 at the Wynwood Brookdale Assisted Living, Grand Blanc. Memorial Services will be 1 p.m. Thursday, May 21, 2009 at the Calvary Presbyterian Church, 6100 Richfield, Rd., Flint, Pastor Harold K. Polk officiating. Visitation will be Thursday from 12 noon to 1 p.m. at the church. George was born December 29, 1923 in Caro, MI to George E. and Ellen M. (Rabideau) Stafford. He was a member of Calvary Presbyterian Church and the Michigan Harness Horseman's Association owning the 1995 three year old Michigan trotter of the year "Blazer Express". He retired from Hoover Ball Bearing and Dana Corporation. Surviving are children Guy (Marilyn) Stafford of Turner, MI, Perry (Linda) Stafford of Roscommon, MI, Santokh (Hari) Khalsa of Espanola, NM, Terry (David) Price of Ida, MI; step-children Fred (Denise) Krause of Davison, MI, Paul (Evelyn) Krause of Goodrich, and Charles "Scott" (Amy) Krause of Frisco CO; 21 grandchildren Chris (Nicole) Quillen, Faith Seppala, Perry (Lynn) Stafford II, Matthew (Lindsey) Stafford, Keturah (Jon) Scribner, Andrew (Anneke) Stafford, Micah (Audrey) Stafford, Daniel Stafford, and Paul Stafford, David (Sarah) Price Jr., Michael (Traci) Price, Dawn (Brad) Price, Keith (Missy) Price, Jim (Carolyn) Krause, Kris (Kathy) Krause, Melissa (Matt) Erhmantraut, Andy Krause, Cody Krause, Tristen Krause, Tommy Kleckner, Jennifer Kleckner; 40 great-grandchildren;. 2 sisters Shirley Campbell of Owosso, MI, Mickey (Bob) Barton of Caro, MI; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by wife Dorothy, August 26, 2007; sister Roberta Beers; brothers Albert Stafford, Kenneth Stafford and Ervin Stafford.
