Parents of seven children, only 6 living in the 1900 Sheridan Pct., Pawnee Co. Nebraska Census. Samuel B.(19), Charles E.(18), Mary D.(15), Hazel A.(10, William H.(7), and Joseph W.(5).

NECK BROKEN, LIVES YEAR

Former Pawnee County Farmer Dies of Paralysis.

PAWNEE CITY, Neb.- Hugh A. Gabby, eighty-two, who for more than a year had been living with a broken neck, died at the home of his son, Will, in St. Louis, following a paralytic stroke and was buried here Tuesday. Mr. Gabby was formerly a farmer of this vicinity and received his vertebral injury while motoring here on a visit last year. He is survived by Mrs. Gabby and sons, Joe Gabby, Pawnee City; Will Gabby, St. Louis; Dr. Lee Gabby, Elgin, Ill.; Charles Gabby, Moscow, Ida.; and daughters, Mrs. Mary McKinley, College Springs, Ia.; and Mrs. Alice Marsh, Monamouth, Ill.

EXPIRES FROM STROKE AFTER LIVING A YEAR WITH A BROKEN NECK.

A special from Pawnee City says that Hugh A. Gabby, 82, who for over a year had been living with a broken neck, died Saturday at the home of his son, Will, in St. Louis, following a paralytic stroke and was buried at Pawnee City Tuesday. Mr. Gabby was formerly a farmer this vicinity and received his injury while motoring here on a visit in 1931. His widow, four sons and two daughters survive.
