Josephine was the daughter of Joseph Konvar and Anna Yanda. She was married prior to 1907 in Czechoslovakia to Norbert Baumgartner. The couple had their eldest son Joseph in August 1907 in Zavasin, Belcicich, Czecholslovakia. They came to the United States not long afterward, settling in the Schenectady/Albany, NY area. Norbert and Josephine had two more children: Josephine and Frank. Eventually, Norbert and Josephine separated and possibly divorced. Josephine was living in Schenectady County, NY when she died.
