"Edwin T. Stanard Funeral Services Held - Funeral services for Edwin T. Stanard, former city supply commissioner and milling company head, were held today at Lupton's undertaking establishment, 7233 Delmar boulevard, University City.
Mr. Stanard, 79 years old, died Sunday at St. Luke's Hospital of infirmities of age. He lived at 8 Kingsbury place. He was president of Stanard-Tilton Milling Co. from 1934 until the company was sold in 1942. Mr. Stanard was city supply commissioner from 1944-49 after serving as superintendent of property of the St. Louis Police Department.
Surviving are his wife, Edna; a son, William K. Stanard II, and two granchildren."
