Joseph W. Lukasiewicz, 73 of Mattydale, died Tuesday at his cottage in Chippewa Bay. He was a life time resident of Syracuse area. Mr. Lukasiewicz retired in 1991 from Carrier Corp. after 45 years. Communicant of St. Margaret's Church Mattydale. He was co-owner with his wife of G & J Greenware. Member of Carrier Retirees Assoc. and Fish and Game Club. A Veteran of Korean War serving with the Marine Corp.
Surviving are his wife of 52 years, Ginny, a daughter KarAn Lukasiewicz-Holtham and son-in-law Greg Holtham of Mattydale, three brothers John of N. Syracuse, Charles of Mattydale, Stanley of Lakeland.
Services will be Saturday 9 a.m. at St. Margaret's Church in Mattydale. Burial in Sacred Heart Cemetery. Calling hours Friday 5 to 8 p.m. at Welter- Price Funeral Home 2649 James St.
